Written by Perry Huang Kemper, The Seaside Mausoleum explores the fragility of growing up through the perspective of a young girl, Paige, who builds a mausoleum for a bundle of dead fish with her audacious friend, Lily. This piece truly embodies the spirit of Autumn; the anxieties that accompany change are inescapable, undeniable, and deeply human.
One exceptional piece will be featured each season as the Season's Piece! The theme is open, so exemplify your creativity! Read more about this competition here.
